Audubon Zoo

September 30th, 2010

Raegan loves to visit the Audubon Zoo. I will mention visiting the local zoo and she will ask if it is the Audubon Zoo. When I say no then she is not interested in going. This year we are going to become members, so we can go more often. Here is Rae navigating with the map. She loves maps just like her Daddy.

What she most enjoys the animated dinosaur exhibit. On this trip, one even spit on Daddy. It was quite funny since it totally caught him off guard. Here is Rae petting one.

We have been twice to the zoo and have yet to see all of the exhibits. Our last trip it rained nearly two hours while we were there. In fact, we made a break for the Jeep in the monsoon. We did stop at the souvenir shop for a dry shirt and towel.

Tinkerbell

June 30th, 2009

Raegan found the wings to her Tinkerbell costume and wanted to wear it. So we put it on and then she wanted to wear her fancy shoes. She danced around a little bit and posed for the camera.

Booster Seat

June 28th, 2009

Raegan now is in a booster seat! No more car seat. She really likes it and couldn’t wait for us to put it in the car. Daddy got it installed and we had to go for a ride that evening just to test it out.

MobiCon

June 27th, 2009

Here are some pictures from MobiCon – a gaming convention in Mobile. We went in May of this year. Raegan loved staying in the hotel and liked the swimming pool, too.

Tea Party

June 27th, 2009

Raegan went to her first tea party about a month ago. Well, really her second tea party(first one was at MobiCon) This was put on by our play group in Hattiesburg.

The spread. Of course Raegan didn’t eat or drink anything. She’s so picky.

I think her favorite party of the tea party – the swing set.

Raegan 2008

January 1st, 2009

This year I have actually organized some photos, so I thought I would post a picture of Raegan from each month of 2008. What a great year it’s been.

Lipstick

December 28th, 2008

We met some friends for dinner the other night and exchanged Christmas gifts. Part of mine was a stick of lipstick that Raegan was immediately taken with. She had to wear some right then.

Before we left the restaurant, we took some pictures. But before we snapped any photos, my friend put on some lipstick. Raegan must have taken notice because the next day she wanted to put on some lipstick. Then she said “take a picture.” Here is her pose for that picture –

Santa

December 24th, 2008

Raegan never ceases to surprise me. Last week we had our playdate Christmas party. Part of the fun is a visit from Santa where he passes out gifts to the kids. Last year I chose the wrong gift because Rae had absolutely no interest in it. She was, however, quite taken with Elmo that was another child’s gift. When she couldn’t have him, she threw a fit. Last year she wouldn’t have anything to do with Santa, so I didn’t hold out much hope that this year would be different. But oh what a difference a year makes!

She went up to get her present and when asked if she would like to sit on his lap, she shook her head yes. I was very surprised. Pleasantly surprised. Since then she has been ready to open more Santa presents. In fact, today she told me she wanted to go to Santa’s house and when I told her that he was coming here, she then said that she wanted to wait up for him. So yeah, I think she is a little excited about Christmas this year.

Cat in the Hat

December 10th, 2008

Raegan loves books. One of her favorites is The Cat in the Hat. Here she is reading it to monkey.

Mitchell Farms

October 30th, 2008

We’ve had a pretty active month. It’s finally cooler weather and some activities that are actually in the afternoon. Working in the morning is really a drag sometimes. We miss out on some fun stuff because of it.

I’m going to start sorting my pictures better and posting more of them. I take a ton of photos but never post that much. This is one of my favorites from Mitchell Farms. They have a corn box that the kids can play in. Looks like fun. Rae enjoyed it a lot.
